Outfit Repeater... or Reinventor?

So I am notorious for buying these amazing pieces and feeling like once it makes the gram or I’m seen by x amount of people I can never wear it again. Not sure if that’s considered #BriLogic or just plain being a girl, but in turn these amazing pieces sit in my closet for months some times years and it’s quite sad.

I recently took a three day trip to Cali to visit a girl friend of mine and kick it with her family. If we are being transparent I only truly got dressed for one of those days because I like comfort, the effort it takes to be a bad b*tch is tewww much, and sometimes less is more. On the day I did get dressed up I decided to reinvent a look and made it fit for the occasion.

How I originally styled the palm tree crop top for my trip to Mexico.

Originally I bought this palm tree crop and wore it with the matching pants for a trip to Mexico (sooooo much fun). Anyways loved the top and knew I couldn’t, well wouldn’t ever wear it all together again. This time I paired it with this cool oversized denim jacket I copped from Zara, comfy sale shorts from forever 21, and my ole faithful white vans and whaaaallaaaa - comfy cute and chic. What I loved most about the outfit outside of my A+O top was that it was fashion on a budget- my favorite. No worries I linked everything for you below 😉.

Next time you push your “worn it, been seen it” clothes to the back of your closet think of ways to reinvent. You may even come out with a better looking outfit than the first.
